Candidate, Board of Finance

Kevin Beaudoin served four terms from 2007 – 2013 and 2015-2017 on the Southington Board of Finance (BOF). Mr. Beaudoin is again seeking a seat on the Board of Finance. During his terms on the BOF, he accomplished his prior goal of being fiscally responsible and maintaining a fair and reasonable tax rate for the citizens of Southington. As a member of the Board of Finance, he has proven that he can work effectively with the various Town Departments and Town Council to maintain our fiscal policy. His past record demonstrated that he can work effectively with both parties. He is committed to continuing his personal philosophy of making financial decisions that are best for the Town of Southington in this difficult economic environment.

Kevin Beaudoin is employed with the State of Connecticut Insurance Department where he is responsible for supervising the financial audits of multi-billion dollar Connecticut domiciled insurance companies. Kevin has a strong background in financial, budgetary, investment and operational aspects of the Insurance Industry. Kevin’s extensive financial background in auditing and budget reviews gives him the experience to better serve the towns financial needs.

Kevin Beaudoin has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting/Management from Eastern Connecticut State University and a Masters in Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI).

He and his wife Deborah Nanfito Beaudoin of Southington, have two daughters, Madison and Jordan. The family has lived in Southington for the past 16 years.

In conclusion, he looks forward to the opportunity to continue to serve the community by making financially responsible decisions to help continue our town prosper, while doing it in the best interest of our citizens.
