Occupation: Director of Operations, Provider Staffing at Carecentrix

Kat is currently an alternate commissioner on the Planning and Zoning Commission. She brings two years of knowledge of our zoning regulations and current open applications. Working in healthcare, Kat has experience creating procedural documentation from health plan regulations to ensure compliance with both federal and state law. Working with an ancillary healthcare network, Kat needs to stay abreast of real estate and geographical issues that impact care providers, and patients. Her vision for Southington is one of inclusivity and accessibility, marked by careful alignment of building proposals with our Plan of Conservation and Development. Kat is a champion for fair and affordable housing and transportation options, particularly for seniors and disabled individuals. Southington is a town of rich tradition and history, and Kat is confident she can honor those things while steering our town toward a promising future.

Volunteerism: Kat is very active with Southington Pride, and was invited to join the board of directors once Pride became a proper 501c3 last year. Kat is very proud of the work the organization does to support all of Southington’s residents.
