An Open Letter to Representatives Sampson and Fusco

Southington Democrats criticize Republican use of town seal in ‘official’ campaign ad

Southington Democrats criticize Republican use of town seal in ‘official’ campaign ad

A Republican election ad that includes the town seal and the word “official” is drawing criticism from Democrats.

The ad, headlined “2015 Official Town of Southington Election Guide,” was included in this week’s Southington Observer and listed Republican accomplishments and candidates. Republicans hold majorities on the Town Council and Board of Education.

Ed Rosenblatt, Democratic town chairman, said Republicans are trying to mislead residents with the title and the use of the seal. The guide contains a sample ballot that includes the name of Republican but not …

Markley Needs To Deliver
by: Ed Rosenblatt,

Southington Democratic Town Committee Chairman

Our Platform in Detail: Work with the state delegation to secure the resources necessary to move Southington forward

Our Platform in Detail: Work with the state delegation to secure the resources necessary to move Southington forward

We are very fortunate to have such strong representation in the State Legislature.  In particular, the Southington Democrats will work closely with Joe Aresimowicz in his position as the majority leader, the second highest ranking member of the House of Representatives.

Additionally, Representative Dave Zoni is currently a member of the Southington Democratic Town Committee and former member of the Southington Town Council.  Dave has accomplished quite a lot already especially as a freshman legislator.

Both Dave and Joe have a proven record of working across party lines. The …
